Addendum #1 →
Just some things I found interesting from Genesis 1 that I didn’t mention before. Cool verse here pointing towards the Trinity! Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;  - Genesis 1:26 (NASB) Looks like from this verse that man and beast alike were originally made to eat only plant life. This isn’t saying we should be vegans now, but it connects with some verses...

(Please reblog!) How Google Stole my Documents,...
itiswellwithmysoul: karlaakins: On December 30, 2009, I tried signing into my gmail account so that I could retrieve my google documents.  I can’t describe the utter horror that came over me as I discovered that google had deleted my account. It is gone.  It doesn’t exist anymore. And I have no idea why.  No one has given me an explanation. There is no one to talk to at Google.  Their...

The Creation of the Heavens and the Earth.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Gen. 1:1 (NASB) In the first chapter of Genesis, we see the creative power of God in action. No matter how you think it was accomplished there is one undeniable fact that the bible is quite clear on. The heavens and the earth were created by the LORD God. Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb:“I am the LORD, who...

Happy New Year!
Well, it is 2010 here in Iraq! I just got thru going outside and taking some pics that I will post in a little. Also I started a new blog. It is on Wordpress and it there to help me achieve my goal of reading through the bible chronologically this year. I just got my first post up on Genesis 1. I will probably get it to feed into this also, but I have to go and figure out how to do that. Still...

Danny's Funeral
hiphomiletics: Last moment, I was asked to share a Scripture at Danny’s funeral this morning! As far as I know, Danny never trusted in Jesus. As far as I know, only one other person in that room other than me had. This is a divinely supplied opportunity! I scurried in my mind for a message. I wasn’t completely starting from scratch because I prayed on my way to the funeral that God would...

The Armor of God!
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full...

James 1:5-8
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
